How Long Can I Hold Off Reading the Final Installment of Harry Potter?

Nearly everyone knows (fan or not) that the final installment of the Harry Potter book series was released over the weekend (specifically July 21, 2007). Everyone in my house, except for my wife, is a big fan and could not wait for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7). Now that it’s here, my daughters are taking turns with the book which has worked well so far; however, I haven’t tried to take my turn so book sharing might fall apart as soon as I enter the mix.

Fortunately for my daughters, I’m trying to refrain from reading the book because I have two weeks till my summer vacation and this book is an ideal lake-side summer read. My problem, however, is that I doubt I can remain “in the dark” about the fate of Harry and the rest of the characters until that time. The New York Times already printed a complete “spoiler.” How long till the next “journalist” starts to spill the beans about the book? Is it even possible to remain ignorant for two more weeks?
